titleOfInvention | PROCESS TO SHORTEN THE SWITCH-OFF PROCESS IN ELECTRO-OPTICAL LIQUID CRYSTAL CELLS |
abstract | There is a fluid crystal between two plates and in an electrical field, the plates being coated in an electrically conductive layer. The fluid crystal has a dielectric anisotropy which changes the plus or minus sign in the kilohertz range. Electrooptical control takes place by changeover of frequency in the voltage at the cell. One frequency is in the area of negative dielectric anisotropy and the other in the area of positive dielectric anisotropy. |
