titleOfInvention N, N'-BIS- (2,4-DIENOXY-S-TRIAZINE-6) DIAMINES
abstract The new cpds. have formula (in which R is a bisalkylene-amino, tri-alkylene-diamino or omega, omega1-bisalkylene-(oxo- or thio-alkylene-amino) gp. with 4-16C or a bis-alkylene-arylene or -heteroarylene-amino gp. with 12-20 C; the R1 gps. are crotyl, methallyl, ethallyl, propallyl, 3-butenyl, 2-hexenyl, 2,4-hexadienyl, 3-decenyl and other unsatd. gps., pref. allyl gps.). They are used in compression moulding, insulating and casting resin compsns. as hardeners, in an amt. of 60-160 wt. % w.r.t. polymers capable of addn., opt. in conjunction with peroxide hardeners, esp. with epoxide resins and polyisocyanates. Thermostable, transparent and flawless cured mouldings with high gloss and excellent solvent resistance can be obtd. Too rapid gelation can be avoided, thus facilitating processing. They are prepd. by mixing a trisenoxy-s-triazine and diamino cpd. in 2:1 molar ratio at room temp. and removing the unsatd. alcohol formed.
