titleOfInvention METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FOAM
abstract Foam for cleaning textiles is generated by chemically prepg. the gas required to froth up a liquid through controlled content of >=2 separately stored components (A and B) which react on contact so as to release gas. >=1 of the components contains wash-active matls. Pref. (A) is a (di)carbonate and (B) is an acid e.g. H3PO4 or AcOH and >=1 of components is dissolved in water. A large foam vol. with high cleansing power can be obtd. spontaneously. Cleansing activity may be influenced by choosing reagents. Thus Na2HPO4 and NaH2PO4 (formed from NaHCO3 and H3PO4) support cleaning process. NaH2PO4 helps to revive colours.
