titleOfInvention | PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HYDROGEN FROM WATER WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF SOLAR ENERGY |
abstract | Hydrogen is produced by placing a layer (ca. 1 mm. thick of AgCl at the bottom of a transparent container. The action of sunlight decomposes the AgCl and the chlorine produced pumped off into another container contng. water. The chlorine combines with the water to form a chlorinated acid with the sim. prodn. of O2 which is then removed. The chlorinated acid is transferred back to the first container to re-form AgCl and sim. liberate H2 (which may be pumped off and used). |
