The org. dyebath comprises 20-75% of (A) a water-insol. (cyclo)aliphatic hydrocarbon with >=8C atoms, and 80-25% of (V) a polyhalogenated lower aliphatic hydrocarbon boiling at 70-180 degrees C, >=1 finely divided, disperse dyestuff, together with opt. additives. Dyeing is effected at >100 degrees C pref. >120 degrees C, opt. continuously, and the dyed material is then opt. rinsed, and dried. Hydrocaronbs (A) are e.g. kerosine, heavy gasoline or paraffin oil, and hydrocarbons (B) are e.g. trichlorethylene, 1:1:1-trichlorethane or pref. perchlorethylene. |
