abstract | Substance for removing warts without causing skin damage consists of (a) a coolant, pref. a (ahlogenated) hydrocarbon or mixt. capable of producing a temp. of -25 to -65 degrees C, e.g CF2Cl2, (b) an antibacterial agent e.g. thymol or 5-chloro-7-bromo-8-hydroxyquinoline and (c) an antiphlogistic agent e.g. prednisolone, dexamethasone, triamcinolone or phenylbutazone. The substance is pref. applied in the form of a spray. It is partic useful for the removal of infantile and common warts. |
