titleOfInvention METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE MANUFACTURING OF INJECTION MOLDED ARTICLES
abstract The patent DT 2103885 describes a method of making injection moulded objects having a closed external skin and a core of a different material, where the skin material is injected in first and third stages and the core material in the second stage, the boundary surface between the two materials during the first and third stages being displaced backwards from the sprue duct in the feed duct for the second or core material by a controlled amt. In the patent of addn. the two feed ducts for the different materials are cut off from each other and from the sprue duct after the third stage. This arrangement enables the posn. of the boundary surface in the feed duct for the second material to be maintained, without flowback of material, after the completion of each injection cycle and before starting the next one.
