abstract |
Electric surface resistance of pulverulent coating material (e.g. PMMA) is reduced by intimately dispersing 5-30 pts. wt. of coating material in 95-70 pts. wt. of a 1-5 wt.% soln. of an antistatic agent (e.g. PVA, triethylene diamine) which is inert toward the coating material; and sepg. the so-dispersed coating material from the soln. Process is used in electrodeposition of polymeric coatings on e.g. steel sheet. |
