abstract The antistatic agents are of formula (I) (where m = 1-150; M is an alkali(ne earth) metal or (alkyl)ammonium; R is H or Me; R' is H, 1-6 C alkyl, F, Cl, Br or I; R" is H, -NH2, -NO2, -CN, -CF3, Cl or (II); A is R"'-O-, R"'-N(R"')-, R"'-N , R"'-C(=O)-O-, or a gp. such as (III), where R"' is 1-30 alkyl, (alk)aryl or arylalkyl; and n = 1 or 2). The antistats have good compatibility with the polymer matrix; are thermally stable, resistant to hydrolysis, evaporation, and leaching-out by water or org. solvents.
