abstract | In order to eliminate pyrophoric character of metal catalyst a suspension of it is prepd. in aq. or inert org. solvents, and HNO3, HNO2 or their salts are added slowly in aq. or org. solvents in amount of 10-3 to 1 mole per 100g catalyst, opt. with other inorg. or org. acids, at 0-150 degrees C, pref. 20-100 degrees C, reagent-vol. depending on catalyst surface area. Catalytic is fully maintained after treatment. |
