REAGENT TABLETS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME |
abstract |
Reagent tablets consisting of adhesive reaents and readily tablettable materials have adhesive reagents forming the middle layer and readily tablettable materials (e.g. NaCl, KCl, sodium benzoate or urea) forming the upper and lower layer of a three-layer tablet. The tablets are produced by compressing the adhesive reagents, opt. with the addn. of further adjuvants, between two layers of readily tablettable substances, pref. on a rotary tabletting machine with three filling and compressing stations. The middle reagent layer of the tablets is stabilised and protected against mechanical damage by the outer layers. |
