titleOfInvention METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLYAMIDE MOLDED PARTS
abstract Shaped polyamide article prodn. by activated anionic polymsn. of esp. 5+ C lactams, partic. beta-pyrrolidone, E-caprolactam, oenantholactam, caprylolactam and/or laurolactam, is effected by adding 0.1 - 5 (0.5 - 2) wt.% (w.r.t. polymerising lactam) of a natural or synthetic hard paraffin, having a m.pt. >30 degrees C, to the polymerisable mixt., before or during polymsn. Low mol. material diffusion (sweating) to surface, forming a hygienically and aesthetically undesirable dull grey coating, is prevented.
