Polyurethane elastomers which can be moulded in high speed machines contain units of formula I: (where R is 1-20C alkyl which may be interrupted by O or S atoms; and R' is 1-10C alkyl). The polyurethanes are prepd. by reacting polyisocyanates, polyhydroxy cpds. with a mol. wt. of 800-5000, and diamines of formula II. In cpds. II, R is pref. methyl or t-butyl; and R' is n- or i-butyl or 3-ethyl-n-heptyl. |
