Fe complex of EDTA as bleach and Na2S2O3 or (NH4)2S2O3 as fixative. This is sprayed onto the material opt in the presence of O2, bleach-fixing taking place at pH 6-8, and a redox potential is not >100 mV more positive than the potential of a 1:1 mixt. of the Fe (II) and Fe (III) complex of EDTA. Adequate bleaching of the image Ag and oxidn. of the cyan dye is produced, without colour fog formation. The bath is suitable for rapid processing. |
