An electrolyte based on AgI and Ag2SeO4 is used in galvanic cell with negative Ag electrode and a solid electrolyte. The solid electrolyte has high Ag ion conductivity and can be discharged with relatively high current densities. It pref. contains 60-80 (70) mole % AgI and 20-40 (30) mole % Ag2SeO4. |
