abstract |
Agent for effecting lasting alteration of the shape of scleroproteins (esp. human hair) contains (a) protein disulphide trans hydrogenase (an enzyme obtainable from animal, vegetable and microbiological sources) and (b) a mercapto cpd. as H donor. The agent is particular of use as a cold set for human hair. Hair setting is effected under mild conditions, fixing with H2O2 not being necessary. |
