| abstract | A plastic container, esp. for polycarbonate, is used for the chemical treatment of the polluted or salt water and to the container are screwed a universal filter to remove solid contaminant and solid reaction products from the chemical treatment phase as well as a hand operated piston pump which pressurizes the container at is not >5 atmos to overcome the hydraulic resistance of the filter. The water is not only purified by removal of bacteria and chemical contamination, including sea salt, but is made potable from the taste point of view.
