abstract Prepn. of F-contg. copolymers according to parent patent, by copolymerising 20-90 mol % (w.r.t. total polymer) F-contg. olefins with C2H4, in aq. phase, at 0-25 atmos. excess press., at 5-50 degrees C, in an acid medium in presence of 0.001-0.1 wt.% manganic acids, their salts or precursors as catalysts, is modified by polymerising >=2 fluorolefins with C2H. Pref. fluorolefins are 2-6C perfluorolefins, esp. perfluor-alpha-olefins, or fluorolefins contg. also Cl and Br or H, and are pref. used in 30-80 mol. % amount w.r.t. total polymer, pref. at 15-35 degrees C, using K2MnO4 or K4Mn2O7 as catalysts.
