| abstract | The driving buttons are mounted in pairs on the co-axial driving shafts at both sides of the microscope and both fine adjustment buttons are mounted on a common driving shaft. Both driving shafts of both coarse adjustment buttons are connected for driving to both gears of a first differential gear. The differential shaft drives one gear of a second differential gear. The other gear is driven by a shaft which carries both fine adjustment buttons. The differential shaft is in a form locking connection for driving with the control element of the microscope. The torque acting on the driving shafts is limited. |
