abstract | alpha, beta, gamma or delta - Tocopherol salts of the general formula (I): (where R is H or ch3) reduce the ageing process, tranquilise without sedation and eliminate "medicament stress". The non-toxic salt (I) facilitates absorption of the sparingly absorbable adenosine-5-phosphoric acid by combination with lipoid-soluble vitamin E. They are prepd. from tocopherol-mono-succinic acid and adenosine-5-phosphoric acid with MgCl2 in alcohols in presence of NH3. |
