Polyether-polyeter-polyols prepn. Cpds. of formula (I): Y (CH2CHR-O)n-(COR1-CO-O-CH2-CHR11.O)m-H x (where n is 5-30, m is 1.2-5.0; Y is a gp. obtained by removing active H-atoms from a polyhydric alcohol; x is the no. of active H-atoms in the polyhydric alcohol; R and R11 are H or opt. substd. alkyl or aryl; R1 is a group obtained by removing two COOH gps. from a di-basic carboxylic acid) are prepd. by reacting together (a) a polyether-polyol : Y CH2CHRO)nH x; (b) a carboxylic acid anhydride: and (c) an oxirane (I) are used for prodn. of polyurethanes with improved adhesive power when laminated by flame- or dielectric-lamination. |
