abstract | The coating compsns. consist of unsatd. polyesters and olefinically unsatd. monomers, with 5-7 member heterocyclic N-vinyl amides as additional unsatd. monomers. The mount of amide is pref. >=50% of the total unsatd. monomer and a pref. amide is N-vinyl pyrrolidone-2. Additional monomers are pref. compatible N-substd. acrylamides or methacrylamides. Further reductions in radiation dosage are obtained when the polyester contains chlorine. |
