abstract | Veterinary compsns. of diacetyl-bis-piperidnoethylthiosemicarbazone (DBPT) with 1-(4-amino-2-n-propyl-5-pyrimidinylkmethyl)-2-picolinium-chloride HCl (I), 3,5-dichloro-2,6-dimethyl-4-hydroxypyridine (II), 6,7-bis-isobutoxy-4-hydroxyquinoline-3-ethylcarboxylate (III) pref. in the ratio 1 : 1 - 1 : 5 and concns. of 40 - 120 mg/kg animal feed, or of DBPT with 4-hydroxy-6-n-butyl-7-benzyloxyquinoline-3-methylcarboxylate (IV), 4-hydroxy-6-n-decyl-7-ethoxyquinoline-3-ethycarboxylate (V) or 4-hydroxy-6-n-propyl-7-diethylaminoquinoline-3-methylcarboxylate (IV) pref. in the ratio 12 : 1 - 1 : 1 and concns. of 20 - 30 mg/kg animal feed are synergistic coccidiostats which do not induce resistance and promote growth in chicken. |
