titleOfInvention | Glycidyl ester-polyethyleneimine condensates - as textile - softeners in washing compsns contg anionic detergents |
abstract | Reaction products from (i) 2-10 moles, pref. 2-6 moles, of a fatty acid glycidyl ester with 11-23 C atoms in the alkyl residue, which are opt. unsatd. and/or branched, and (ii) 1 mole of a polyethyleneimine with an av. MW of 400-2500, esp. 600-1800, are new cpds. The reaction products are used as textile softeners in detergent compsns., partic. as softeners for cellulosic materials such as cotton and linen. They are antistatics for synthetic fibres such as polyamide, polyacrylonitrile and polyester fibres. They can be used in compsns. contg. anionic detergents. They do not affect the absorption properties of the textiles. |
