titleOfInvention | Air extraction device for toilet bowls |
abstract | The air extraction device for a toilet basin (1,3) has a fan (7) arranged in the cistern (5a) which sucks away air through the flushing water fall pipe (3a) under the water distribution edge (3b) of the toilet basin. Flushing water is fed from the cistern by operation of the water lock (2) by raising the valve pipe (5). It is fed away from the basin as dirty water via the outflow pipe (15). The fan or tube blower (7) arrangedin cistern has a flexible hose (6) fitted to its input side and the other hose end is freely movable in its extension into the valve pipe of the water lock (2). A function of the lever mechanism of the water lock is ensured by operation of the flushing process. The tube blower is continuously operated at a low speed on a standing basis and when a person approaches the toilet to use it, a sensor via a mains part changes the blower to a higher operative speed. As soon as the person has departed the blower reverts to its low speed. |
