titleOfInvention | Oxidation hair dyes containing 1,2-diaminobenzene derivatives and new 1,2-diaminobenzene derivatives |
abstract | An oxidative dye for keratin fibers, based on a developer-coupler combination, also contains a 1,2-diaminobenzene derivative (or water-soluble salt) substituted in the 4 position by an aromatic or heteroaromatic group, some of these derivatives being new compounds. An oxidative dye for keratin fibers, based on a developer-coupler combination, also contains a 1,2-diaminobenzene derivative (or water-soluble salt) of formula (I) substituted in the 4 position by an aromatic or heteroaromatic group, some of these derivatives being new compounds. [Image] R1an aromatic or heteroaromatic group of formula (IIA) or (IIB); X1-X4N, NR2, O, S, CR3, CR4, CR5 or CR6, with the provisos that (i) 1-3 of X1-X4 = N, NR2, O or S and (ii) when (IIA) contains more than 1 heteroatom, at most one of X1-X4 = O, S or NR2; R2H, 1-6C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl, 3-6C polyhydroxyalkyl or a phenyl or acetyl group; R3-R6H, halogen (F, Cl, Br or I), CN, OH, 1-6C alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio, SH, NO2, amino, 1-6C alkylamino, di(1-6C)alkylamino, CF3, -C(O)H, -C(O)-1-6C alkyl, -C(O)-CF3, -Si(CH3)3, -C(O)NH2, 1-6C hydroxyalkyl or 3-6C polyhydroxyalkyl; X5-X9N, CR7, CR8, CR9, CR10 or CR11, with at most 3 of X5-X9 being N; R7-R11as for R3-R6 or -C(O)-phenyl, -(CH2)p-CO2R12 or -(CH2)pR13 or 2 adjacent R7-R11 form an -O-CH2-O- bridge; p : 1, 2, 3 or 4; R12H or 1-6C alkyl; and R13amino or nitrile. An independent claim is also included for new compounds (I) as above but with the following provisos: (i) X1 is not NH when X4 = N and X2 = X3 = CH; (ii) X1 is not CH when X4 = N, X2 = NCH3 and X3 = CCF3; (iii) X2 is not S when X4 = N and X1 = X3 = CH; (iv) X6 and X7 are not both CNH2 when X5, X8 and X9 = CH; (v) X7 is neither N, CH nor CCl when X5 = X6 = X8 = X9 = CH; (vi) X9 is not Ctriple boundCN when X5 = X6 = X7 = X8 = CH; (vii) X5 and X7 are not both CNH2 when X6, X8 and X9 = CH; (viii) X7 is not N when X6 = X8 = CCH3 and X5 = X9 = CH; (ix) X6 is not CHal or CH when X7 = CNH2 and X5 = X8 = X9 = CH; and (x) X5 and X6 are not both CNH2 when X7-X9 = CH. |
