abstract | A system (100) for producing electrochemical and photocatalytic silver nanoparticles, the system (100) comprising:a first mixing chamber (102) for dissolving 1-3 g of silver nitrate (AgNO3) in 40-60 ml of deionized water at room temperature with constant stirring to form a first solution;a second mixing chamber (104) in communication with the first mixing chamber (102) for mixing 0.2-0.9 g of sodium borohydride (NaBH4) in the formed solution to form a second solution;a third mixing chamber ( 106) in communication with the second mixing chamber (104) for mixing 0.5-2 g of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) with the second solution to form a colloidal solution; an agitator (108) in communication with the third mixing chamber (106) for agitating the second solution for a defined interval to form the colloidal solution; and a vacuum oven (110) for drying the colloidal solution at a specified interval to obtain the silver nanoparticles. |
