abstract | A surge protection device (SPD) module (100) for use with a power line bus (L1, L2, L3, N, PE) and an auxiliary device (70), the SPD module (100) comprising: a module housing (110); an overvoltage protection element (130) on the module housing (110); a contact clip (C1, C2, C3, CN, CPE) configured to mechanically and electrically connect the SPD module (100) to the voltage line bus (L1, L2, L3, N, PE); and an auxiliary power connector (182) mounted on the module housing (110); wherein the auxiliary power supply connection (182) is also electrically connected to the contact terminal (C1, C2, C3, CN, CPE) to supply power from the voltage line busbar (L1, L2, L3, N, PE) to the auxiliary device (70) through the auxiliary power supply connection (182) to deliver; and wherein the contact clip (C1, C2, C3, CN, CPE) comprises a spring contact element (122) which is configured to receive and engage the voltage line busbar (L1, L2, L3, N, PE). |
