titleOfInvention | Light-filtering film for a screen of a device |
abstract | A light filtering sheet for a display screen of a device, comprising:a polymeric substrate;a first absorbing compound combined with the polymeric substrate, wherein the first absorbing compound absorbs blue light in a blue notch band having a full-width FWHM of no more than about 50 has nm; anda second absorbing compound combined with the polymeric substrate, wherein the second absorbing compound absorbs red light in a red notch band having a full width half maximum of no more than about 50 nm,wherein the first absorbing compound and the second absorbing compound are provided in combination such that for light generated by the screen that is transmitted through the light filtering film, the correlated color temperature is within about 1000 Kelvin of the correlated color temperature for light generated by the screen that is not transmitted through the light filtering film andwherein the first absorbing compound reduces the percentage of blue light by at least 20% and the second absorbing compound comprises a peak absorption at about 630 nm. |
