abstract | A cleaning composition comprising: a) from 0.5 to 35%, by weight of the total composition, of a surfactant system comprising anionic surfactant comprising acylglutamate salt, wherein salt of acylglutamate is present with 50% or more of the total surfactant present, and wherein the surfactant system further comprises from 0 to 20%, by weight of the total composition, of a cosurfactant, wherein cosurfactants are non-anionic surfactants selected from the group consisting of nonionic, cationic, amphoteric surfactants, and mixtures thereof; b) 0% to 30%, based on the weight of the total composition, of water-soluble or oil-soluble skin or hair care product; c) 0.01 to 1% of an organic acid selected from the group of organic acids having a pKa between about 4.0 and 5.5; and d) water, the pH being about 5.1 or below. |
