| abstract | The composition to be patented for local and external use in cosmetics and pharmacy is characterized by the following features: 1) composition based on 100 g: 50 g of propolis tincture (10% in 70% undiluted ethanol) 2.5 g of Calendula mother tincture 1.25 g Hamamelis mother tincture Ethanol - Distilled water mixture ad 100 g The total composition contains 70% ethanol 2) The composition is used for cosmetic and pharmaceutical use, in particular for local and external application to skin regions after mite or brake bites and mosquito bites with the aim to relieve the itching associated with the attack and to reduce the wheal or pustule formation. 3) The composition is very skin friendly and contains only naturally occurring raw materials. 4) The composition is applied in the form of a spray that evaporates rapidly leaving behind a drug film. 5) The high alcohol content of the composition also causes a local wound disinfection and kills possibly still existing parasites. 6) The composition is equally usable for humans and animals in the mentioned range of applications. |
