A thread loading device, consisting of: a housing disposed on a bone anchor instrument, the housing defining a guide portion; a first opening defined by the housing; a first retaining member disposed adjacent the first opening, the first retaining member being positionable between an open configuration in which the first opening is exposed and a closed configuration in which the first opening is covered; and a first suture forceps disposed within the first opening, the first suture forceps configured to receive a first suture length; wherein the guide portion defines at least one first passage which is connected to the first opening, through which the first thread grasping pliers can be translated. |
