abstract Galvanically isolated power and data transmission module, comprising A transformer having a primary side and a secondary side, wherein connected to the primary side, an energy supply to supply the galvanically isolated energy and data transmission module with energy, and a first data feed which for transmission from the primary side to the secondary side supplies first data to the galvanically isolated power and data transmission module and a pulse generator, wherein the pulse generator is capable of generating pulses of different duration and a receiver device which allows the detection of the pulse generated by the pulse generator and transmitted from the primary to the secondary side and changed on the secondary side and retransmitted after the change to the primary side pulses, and comprising a primary logic circuit which makes the data provided by the first data supply processable for transmission via the galvanically isolated power and data transmission module, and the information which is changed from the secondary side in the form of the pulses changed on the secondary side.
