abstract Transparent, colored light-reflecting interference layer with a total layer thickness of 200 to 600 nm, comprising at least the following dielectric layers, superimposed in the order given: (A) a transparent layer consisting of a dielectric material having a refractive index n> 1.8, (B) a transparent layer consisting of a dielectric material of refractive index n = 1.4 to 1.65, (C) a transparent layer consisting of a dielectric material of a refractive index n> 1.8, and (D) a transparent layer consisting of a dielectric material having a refractive index n = 1.4 to 1.65, wherein the layer thicknesses of the layers (A), (B), (C) and (D) are adjusted so that the interference layer reflects the incident visible light in the desired color.
