titleOfInvention Increasing charge difference in photocondu - ctor material not requiring charging
abstract Contrast of photoconductor material not requiring charging is increased by submitting zinc oxide layer to heating to 300-500 degrees C and subsequent chilling. Thermal energy may be added to zinc oxide mass or to the layer after coating. Heating may be carried out for shorter or longer time, but chilling must be carried out rapidly. Effect is addition of oxygen ions which exceeds the normal measure of chemical adsorption of oxygen ions.
