Another leading end of the base member made of the nickel base alloy is fixed to the housing (10) and both the element made of the Ir alloy and the base member made of the nickel base extend perpendicular to an axis of a housing, so that another leading end (43) of the Ir alloy element may face a leading end (31, 31a) of the center electrode (30) with the spark discharge gap (50) therebetween. |
