titleOfInvention | Aqueous, one-component bitumen formulation, process for its preparation and its use |
abstract | An aqueous, one-component bitumen formulation is described which contains ettringite or / and its precursors as stabilizing agents for the bitumen component. Bitumen formulations have proven particularly useful, each based on the solids content of the bitumen formulation at least a) 20 to 79.5 parts by weight of bitumen (mixture), b) 0.5 to 60 parts by weight of the ettringite component, c) Contain 20 to 79.5 parts by weight of water and moreover optionally up to 10 parts by weight of a formulation aid as component d). Typical formulation aids include a. sulfonated naphthalene or melamine or maleic acid polymer condensation products. This bitumen formulation is prepared by adding component a) at temperatures from 100 to 150 ° C. to an aqueous preparation of component b) in suitable stirrers, it being possible for the optional formulation aid to be added regardless of the time of the addition. The claimed bitumen formulations are used as bitumen thick coatings, which may contain other quality-improving additives and which are mainly used to seal components against soil moisture and / or (non-) pressing water or for binding, adhesive, strengthening and insulating materials. The products made with the bitumen formulation are characterized by an accelerated film formation and the rapid attainment of their full functionality. |
