titleOfInvention Process for the production of aerosols in the nanometer range
abstract The invention relates to a method for producing aerosols in the nanometer range for testing measuring devices for atmospheric and industrial aerosols, for testing the effect of filters, for transporting absorbed pollutants and for producing active substances with siliceous materials, for investigating these processes and for researching behavior of nanometer aerosols with narrow particle distribution and with a catalytic effect as well as for coating, e.g. B. from sensors. According to the invention, humidified carrier gas is reacted with inert substances in the gaseous state that cannot be decomposed only under UV light, such as in particular silicone oil, paraffin or its derivatives, and the mixture is irradiated with UV light in the wavelength range from 150 to 230 nm.
