In a method for depositing additives on nickel hydroxide nuclei in an aqueous ammoniacal solution, at least one metallic additive is introduced into the solution and a slurry with a reducing potential is generated there. The additive consists of aluminum, cadmium, cobalt, indium, iron, manganese or zinc. The reducing potential can be maintained by introducing a certain amount of oxygen into the additive-containing slurry. The additive goes into solution beyond the solubility limit and is deposited additively as a hydroxide on the nickel hydroxide seeds. |
