titleOfInvention Device for the gasification of carbon-containing solids
abstract The invention relates to a device for the gasification of carbon-containing solids. DOLLAR A Here the solids, such as sewage sludge, biomass or coal, are gasified in a fluidized bed of a fluidized bed reactor with the supply of an oxygen-containing gas. In the device according to the invention, in addition, the solids concentration is as low as possible, ie. H. in an area outside the fluidized bed, another oxygen-containing gas is supplied to the fuel gas already generated. This further gas supply increases the temperature of the fuel gas in this area above the temperature in the fluidized bed. Due to this temperature increase, the tar content in the fuel gas is significantly reduced and the gas quality is thus improved. DOLLAR A With the device shown, fuel gas suitable for gas engines can be generated in a simple manner.
