In the conventional processes for the treatment of aqueous solutions containing bases and organic acids, only one of the two constituents was ever removed from the solution. In order to remove the second component of the solution, additional process steps were necessary, which significantly increased the technical and financial outlay. DOLLAR A The present invention therefore relates to a process for the treatment of aqueous solutions containing bases and organic acids by means of an electrochemical process.
