titleOfInvention | Process for obtaining starch esters |
abstract | From a highly viscous carboxylic acid starch ester reaction mixture in which a starch ester with a degree of substitution of DS = 0.5 to DS = 2.95 is present in dissolved or partially dissolved form, a starch ester is obtained as a solid in that the reaction mixture is initially at a first temperature and subjected to a first pressure and then released into a lower pressure space, the temperature of the starch ester reaction mixture suddenly being lowered. |
