abstract The invention relates to an electrostatically chargeable and writable flat material. In order to achieve good electrostatic properties in spite of good writability, it is proposed according to the invention that the flat material have a core layer (10) made of paper, which has a pore-tight functional layer (14) made of dielectric material at least on one of its broad surfaces.
