abstract |
A method for conserving energy, in particular in the oxychlorination of ethylene, is intended to create a solution with which as much heat as possible is recovered in order to be able to use as much of the sensible heat as possible in the oxyreactor for other purposes. DOLLAR A This is achieved in that the gas mixture coming from the oxychlorination reactor is cooled before entering the quench column and the heat thus obtained is used to preheat the ethylene cycle gas feed stream. |
