abstract | An electrochemical measuring cell for the detection of hydride gases, preferably arsine and phosphine, containing at least one working electrode (3) made of a catalytically inactive material and a reference electrode (4) in an electrolyte space (6) filled with a sulfuric acid-containing electrolyte (9), is intended with regard to cross-sensitivity compared to other harmful gases. To achieve the object, the working electrode is designed as a carbon electrode (3) and an electrolyte additive made of silver sulfate in saturated solution is provided in the electrolyte (9). |
