Water soluble transition metal complexes |
abstract |
Catalyst systems for the copolymerization of carbon monoxide and alpha-olefinically unsaturated compounds, containing as essential components DOLLAR A a) a metal complex of the general formula (I) DOLLAR F1 in which the radicals R · 1 · to R · 4 · for with at least one polar proton-active or ionic functional group based on elements from groups IVA to VIA of the periodic table of the elements substituted linear or branched C¶2¶ to C¶28¶ alkyl, C¶3¶ to C¶14¶ cycloalkyl or alkylaryl with 1 to 28 carbon atoms in the alkyl part and 6 to 15 carbon atoms in the aryl part, and DOLLAR A b) optionally one or more Lewis or protonic acids or a mixture of Lewis and protonic acids. |
