titleOfInvention Optical device with an epoxy resin, the transmission of which is stabilized, method for producing the device and application
abstract The invention relates to an optical device comprising an epoxy resin which is exposed to high-energy electromagnetic radiation. The epoxy resin contains a radical scavenger which stabilizes the transmission of the epoxy resin by intercepting photo-induced radicals of the epoxy resin. Compounds that permanently change the transmission of the epoxy body are produced with a significantly lower quantum yield. The device is used, for example, for the detection of X-rays in a computer tomograph.
