abstract The circuit includes an interrogation table to read-out phase angle data of the output signal with respect to a reference phase, using the I- and Q-component of the input signal treated as address data. The address data are converted in accordance with quadrant data, while the phase angle data from the interrogation table are corrected corresponding to the quadrant data. The interrogation table stores phase angle data of selected quadrants, corresponding to a reference unit quadrant.
