titleOfInvention Implant and implant components for an implant system
abstract A self-tapping screw implant (1) for anchoring dental prostheses in the upper or lower jaw has an implant body (2) which is delimited in parallel in its upper section and which has an external thread section (8) that is continuous from a highly polished outside (7) to the tip (4) of the implant ) for screwing into a jaw bore. An axial receiving opening (10) of the implant is used to fasten different implant components and has an apical tapered inner cone section (11) starting at the top of the implant (6), an adjoining hexagon socket anti-rotation section (12) and an adjoining female thread section (13). The implant is intended in particular for receiving structural parts to be fastened in a rotationally protected manner, which have an apical hexagon external thread section and a coronally adjoining external cone section.
