abstract The present invention is directed to a process for single-step salting and purification of oligopeptides. When synthesized, oligopeptides often do not occur directly as acetates. Acetate salts of oligopeptides are desirable as bulk actives for medical and formulation reasons. Processes known from the prior art have previously worked with two separate steps or with pyridine-containing solvents. DOLLAR A According to the invention, the salting and purification can be combined in one step or the use of pyridine as eluent can be avoided if the oligopeptide in the form of its chloride salt is cleaned with an acetate-containing eluent according to liquid chromatography methods.
